Art Collector is among the 23 judged winners on the tab

On his way to a possible return to the Breeders Cup Classicpopular 5 year old art collector Breeze in Saratoga, one of four tiered stakes winners working for Hall of Fame coach Bill Mott on Friday morning.

Last month’s Charles Town Classic (G2) winner was timed five furlongs at 1:00.3, the second fastest breeze of the day over that distance on the Saratoga Mainline.

Art Collector, sired by Bernardini, finished sixth behind Knicks Go at the 2021 Breeders’ Cup Classic in Del Mar. Knicks Go also won the 2020 Dirt Mile where Art Collector finished eighth. This race took place on November 4th and 5th in Keeneland, the venue for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup.

There were 18 Graded Stakes winners who were stamped on Friday work cards across North America. Another five blew on Thursday.

Friday

art collector (Bernardini), a Class 1 winner (2021 Woodward), worked five stages in 1:00.3 at Saratoga. It was the second fastest of six factories over the distance. His previous work was in Saratoga seven days ago for four stadia.
